Personal Journey that Led me into these Areas of Interest In Executive Coaching: Following a successful career in the publishing industry I went back into full-time education to train as a Clinical Psychologist. I was over-extended and stressed and I was looking for greater work-life balance, meaning and purpose in my career development. I was also becoming aware of my own unique leadership style and was looking for ways to get greater leverage from it in terms of what is important to me.

What has been of Greatest Value on my Personal Journey? The single most important shift I have made and on which everything else is built is a move from trying to change things outside myself – like the people who are important in my life, the environment I am in, the circumstances I find myself in – to a focus on my own inner journey. A critical aspect of this inner journey has been building my capacity for self-reflection and self-awareness and the expansion of my consciousness and sense of who I am that has evolved as a result of this. Other important tools have been the Enneagram Personality Profile and the Leadership Maturity Framework – both tools that I use in exploring an individuals unique leadership style.
