I offer psychotherapy for individual adults and for couples, online and in person at my Lakeside practice.

I have been a registered clinical psychologist since December 2002.

I work with people who want more than symptom relief — who are curious about the deeper patterns shaping their thoughts, feelings and relationships, and want to understand themselves more fully. My approach is psychodynamic and relational at its core, with mindfulness and emotional regulation practices woven into the work. I bring gentle curiosity to untangling the knots of each client’s experience, and can be challenging when that’s called for.

This kind of work goes deepest with regular, weekly sessions. I offer two ways of working:

  • Brief, focused therapy — 16 weekly sessions oriented around a specific pattern, relationship, or life transition you want to understand and shift.
  • Open-ended, long-term therapy — ongoing weekly sessions for those wanting sustained work on longstanding patterns and ways of relating.

I offer:

  • Individual therapy for adults working with self-esteem, career and work concerns, intimate relationships, parenting, anxiety, and depression.
  • Couple therapy/marriage counselling, drawing on psychodynamic thinking and attachment theory.
