Therapy is a venture in self-exploration. Gentle curiosity is a useful quality to bring to this venture. Life – past, present, and future – offers opportunities for investigation. Engaging with situations we might usually avoid, conversations with our families of origin and friends from the past, exploring issues in current relationships, fantasies about the future provide us with useful material for this exploration.
